Our Story

Rooted in Community,
Grown with Purpose

Marathon City Farmers Market isn't just a place to shop — it's where the rhythm of the season becomes the rhythm of our lives. For over 15 years, local growers have gathered at 204 4th Street to share what they've cultivated with care, from spring's first greens to autumn's last squash.

Every strawberry, every loaf of sourdough, every jar of wildflower honey you find here was grown, baked, or gathered by someone who knows the land it came from. That connection — between the hands that tend the soil and the hands that receive the harvest — is what makes this market irreplaceable.

Community

More Than a Market

Marathon City Farmers Market is where neighbors become friends, where children discover where food comes from, and where the spirit of small-town Wisconsin comes alive every Saturday.

"We've been coming every Saturday for three years. The quality is unmatched, and the farmers remember your name. It feels like home."

— Regular Market Goer

"As a vendor, this market has been incredible. The community shows up, they ask questions, and they truly appreciate what we do."

— Local Farm Vendor

"My kids love the market. They know which farmer sells the best blueberries, and they ask about each vendor by name. That's priceless."

— Local Family

Family Friendly

A welcoming space for all ages — let the kids see where food comes from and watch them fall in love with fresh produce.

Community Events

Live music, cooking demos, and seasonal celebrations throughout the market season — there's always something happening.

Support Local

Every dollar spent at the market stays in our community, supporting local farms and the families who work them.
